Tombo FineFlex

We offer a variety of Tombo FineFlex BIO thermal insulation products to suit a range of high-temperature, refectory applications.

FineFlex and Superwool BIO Thermal Insulation Products

FineFlex BIO can be used for refectory insulation as well as furnaces, kilns, gas sealing, and other high-temperature, industrial applications.

What is FineFlex and Superwool?

FineFlex BIO is manufactured by forming silica, magnesia and calcia-based alkaline earth silicate (AES) wool into a cotton-like material. It’s amazingly flexible and resistant to thermal shock.

These biosoluble fibres offer better safety and are excellent for thermal resistance. The FineFlex products are developed with these materials to offer a more environmentally conscious insulation material and product.

Where can I use FineFlex and Superwool HT?

FineFlex is an excellent insulation product for passive fire, and refectory, along with applications. These include:

  • Industrial Furnaces and Kilns: FineFlex BIO can be used in its bulk or blanket form as a joint or general filler.
  • Gas sealing: In its cast form, it’s often used to seal gaps or even make repairs.
  • Industrial Insulation: Used for pipe wraps and high-temperature insulation, especially in petrochemical and steel industries.
